How do young refugees look upon themselves and upon their neighborhood , what do they want to show? As part of the "Bridge the Gap" project young people from the temporary housing for refugees Marienfelder Allee together with Berlin pupils explored their living environment and Berlin. A camera always with them, they experimented on their forays with the photographic view and dealt with the help of the media with their identity, their origin and their realities. The result is an exhibition in which the young people illuminate their lives from their own perspective and present snapshots of their world.
