Station I : Medical Services

Directly after registration, the applicant underwent an examination by the Center’s medical services unit. They sought to ensure that neither contagious diseases nor vermin – such as lice – spread in the camp. Sick persons were either sent to the camp’s quarantine station or admitted to a Berlin hospital. The results of the medical examination were recorded in the applicant’s health certificate.
